The (heavenly) Himmlische
Our cream-truffle bestseller since 1950
In 1950 Karl Leysieffer created the first Himmlische (heavenly) praline. At that time, however, still under a different name. The cream truffle only received its name, which is now known throughout Germany, in 1972 from a Osnabrück priest. He noticed again and again how "heavenly" the creamy filling tasted in combination with the milk chocolate coating and sugar crust. And because there can be no more accurate description on earth for our heavenly tastin praline, the priest's word was the proverbial divine inspiration to baptize it "Die Himmlische".
