Our Baumkuchen mainly consists of butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and flour and is refined Cointreau. The Baumkuchen batter is applied in thin layers to a roller, which then slowly rotates over an open gas flame. Finally, we refine our Baumkuchen by covering it with white, milk or semi-sweet chocolate. The Leysieffer Baumkuchen is made in the traditional way and is considered a master discipline in the confectionery trade
